The 2016 GMA Dove Awards nominees were announced Thursday (Aug. 11), and Joey + Rory are among the artists honored within the 44 categories.

The country duo have been recognized in four categories at the annual awards, including Country Recorded Song of the Year for "He Touched Me," Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year for "I'll Fly Away," Country/Bluegrass Album of the Year for Hymns That Are Important to Us and Long Form Video of the Year for Hymns That Are Important to Us.

The 2016 GMA Dove Awards will take place Oct. 11 at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena in Nashville and will be aired by Trinity Broadcasting Network on Oct. 16. Voting for the final winners will run August 23 through August 30.

"Congratulations to all of this year's Dove Award nominees!” GMA executive director Jackie Patillo states in a press release. “We celebrate the outstanding achievement, hard work and creative excellence you have poured into this life-changing music.”

“Our theme this year is ‘Love. Amplified.,’ a phrase we believe encompasses the collective power & impact of our music,” she adds. “At a time when so much of the world is divided and hostility is in the air, we will turn up the volume of love and the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.”

Recently, Rory Feek announced that he will release an autobiography called This Life I Live.

“The calls started coming in around December I think,” he writes on his blog of the same name. “From publishers and agents who were aware of my blog and the story I was telling, and my wife was living. They saw something I guess: the prayers on Joey’s behalf, the Facebook numbers, the national press. A perfect storm. A husband with a voice, a wife with a story, and an audience who cared about them."
