Joe Nichols & Wife Expecting Baby & More in Casey’s Taste of Country

Joe Nichols and wife Heather are expecting a baby this spring and shared the happy news with People.com.  “After trying to have a baby for so long, we are thrilled to announce that I am pregnant,” Heather says.  This will be the second child for Joe.  He already has a 13-year old daughter, Ashelyn, from a previous relationship.

Carrie Underwood’s new song comes out tomorrow.  “Good Girl” is the first single from her upcoming, fourth album  That album doesn’t come out for another few months.  Jake Thomas actually blogged the preview to the song.  One of Carrie’s co-writers on the song, Ashley Gorley, has also co-written two of Carrie’s more popular songs: “All-American Girl” and “Don’t Forget to Remember Me.”

Trace Adkins has agreed to perform at the 10th Annual Music That Touches the Heart benefit in Franklin, TN today.  The intimate concert will also feature Amy Grant and benefits Brightstone, which is an organization that provides job training and employment opportunities for developmentally disabled people.

Hank Williams, Jr. will release a retrospective collection of signature hits from Curb Records March 27th.  The package will feature 22 of Hank, Jr.’s best songs  such as "Family Tradition,"  "A Country Boy Can Survive," "All My Rowdy Are Comin’ Over Tonight,” and “Whiskey Bent And Hell Bound."
