Joe Diffie “Third Rock From The Sun”–Flashback Friday

Happy Friday! Time to go back in time once again and relive another great country song and video with this weeks edition of FlashBack Friday.

Tomorrow is Countryfest 2011 so I thought I would break out a tune from one of the stars of countryfest past. This week we go back to 1994 for a big #1 hit from Joe Diffie "Third Rock From The Sun".

This was the lead-off single from Joe's fourth album of the same name released in 1994. It became Joe's 3rd number one single of his career.

Joe was also a part of the very first Countryfest at the Altamont Fairgrounds  back in 1994 with Lee Roy Parnell, Victoria Shaw, David Ball, Davis Daniel and Headliner Travis Tritt. He also headlined Countryfest the following year filling in for original Headliners Brooks & Dunn when Ronnie Dunn had to take vocal rest.
