Jodie Foster’s Golden Globes Lifetime Achievement Speech Spurs Rhyming Editorial [Song Parody]

Sorry – I just couldn’t help myself. And let me preface this by saying that I LOVE Jodie’s acting skills, but watching her on this awards show put me in my own “Panic Room”.  She should have taken a hint from the “Lambs” and administered  a little bit of  ”Silence”      I’m sure you saw the speech Sunday nite at the Golden Globe Awards , but if you didn’t, here it is, courtesy of YouTube and NBC.

What was THAT?  Will somebody tell me?  Couldn’t someone have yelled “cut”?  Don’t get me wrong. She is well deserving of this award.  She’s a brilliant actress, and a great director (I hear), just not a great public speaker, I guess.

OK, Jodie.  I’ll give you equal time now.  You can criticize my parody that criticizes you.  Special thanks to my favorite band, the Beatles for the use of “Hey Jude”.  I had to change it to “Hey Jod” – which makes no sense, but I tried to make it work.

What did YOU think of the speech?  Would love to know!   What did you think of the parody? (I’m not sure I want to know THAT!)
