Jefferson Elementary First Graders Help With Anti-Bullying Song
I feel like a kid myself here. I’m getting more and more excited about how this is turning out!
It’s a song that schools in four different Capital Region counties are helping to create. The message? DON’T BE A BULLY. The school helping out this week? Jefferson Elementary in Schenectady County.
One of my all-time favorite stops on the Reading Writing and Rhyming Tour is with this teacher – Jamie Pink. She does a fantastic job, and this time was no exception. Here’s the group shot of her very sophisticated first graders!

JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY’S DEBUT ON OUR SHOW

There you have it, folks. Two more schools to go, and then you will hear the final product. Thanks again to Ms. Pink and my new first grade friends! We hope this helps to drive home the message that bullying is disgusting and not to be tolerated ANYWHERE!
A special big thank you to the Academy For Character Education at the Sage Colleges for their involvement with this program.
