2008- Brooks & Dunn earn a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The best-selling country duo of all time, Brooks & Dunn have sold more than 30 million albums. They have more than 80 industry awards to their credit, including two Grammy Awards and seven American Music Awards.

2001- Jamie O'Neal soars to the top of the Billboard country chart with 'When I Think About Angels.'

2001- Jason and Jessica Aldean are married.  The two met as high school sweethearts when Jason was 17.

1984- The Judds make their first appearance at No. 1 on the country chart with 'Mama He's Crazy.'

1981- Ricky Skaggs marries Sharon White.  Sharon, a member of The Whites, joins Ricky on a CMA winning duet in 1987 titled 'Love Can't Ever Get Better Than This.'

1963- Connie Smith wins a talent contest in Ohio and gains the attention of guest artist Bill Anderson, who helps her get her first recording contract.  Bill pens her break through hit 'Once A Day.'
