What is “Level 7″, on the international scale that is as bad as it gets. The last time a nuclear incident was a “Level 7″ was Chernobyl in the Soviet Union.

According to Reuters the radiation levels around the plant are dangerously high. The evacuation zone was expanded at the end of last week and fallout can be detected at minor level on the West Coast of the US when a prevailing wind is blowing in on the Pacific.
