Countryfest headliner Jake Owen is headlining another big show this weekend - especially for NASCAR fans.

The best drivers of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will battle under the lights at Charlotte Motor Speedway tonight in the annual Sprint All-Star Race, but before the race fans will be treated to a pre-race concert by Jake Owen.

The starting lineup for the All-Star Race will be determined by time trials consisting of three laps plus a four-tire pitstop held before the race. The race consists of four 20-lap segments and a final 10-lap shoot-out with $1 million going to the winner. Eligible drivers include those have won races in the last year, plus past NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champions, those who have won the All-Star race in the past 10 years and three drivers from Sprint Showdown.

The Showdown was run Friday night and winner Clint Bowyer along with second place finisher A.J. Allmendinger will transfer to the All-Star race along with Josh Wise who was voted in by an Internet vote.

Another country music superstar and last year's 'GNA Countryfest headliner, Darius Rucker, will also take to the stage before the race to perform the national anthem before the green flag flies.
