It’s National Pet Day!

Hold those furry little best friends a little closer today because it's National Pet Day!

There are some days, I'll be honest, I love animals waaaaaaay more than people. Okay, so that's most days but that's besides the point! How can you not though, really? Besides your parents, they are the only living, breathing creature that can and will give you unconditional love. You can leave them home alone all day and they're not mad - they're excited when they see you! (Well, at one point they may have gotten a little upset and tore the newspaper to shreds, but they know they were wrong and they are so sorry!)

I'm a big time animal lover and if I could have more and a farm to let them all run around on I totally would. But, alas, my schedule doesn't allow this. Maybe some day. In the meantime, I want to wish you and your four-legged best friends a wonderful National Pet Day! And introduce you to my little guys:

My dog, Penny is a shorkie and is going to be 7 years old in the Fall.

My bunny, Graham is a lion-head and just turned 2 years old this month.

My cat, Lyric is a jerk (kiiiddddiiing! he's awesome) and he just turned 7 years old in February.
