It’s Cyber Monday
A term that was born in the year 2005 and thanks to the power of media fuel it has caught on in terms of recognition. It actually wasn’t something that just happened but was invented by the National Retail Federation as a way to boost online sales. The federation noticed that some people had no interest in braving the malls on the day after Thanksgiving but still craved deals. I think there was also a segment of the population who weren’t totally trusting of shopping online, thus this was a way to put more cash in the pockets of retailers. Cyber Monday occurs in the US, Canada, UK, Portugal, and Germany.
