Issues With Telemarketing Calls

Even with the National Do Not Call Registry, people are still getting those annoying telemarketing calls, and they also seem to be increasing.

Senator Charles Schumer is working on changing that. Newschannel 13 had a story about how he’s working on changing that.

These spamming telemarketers have discovered ways around the Do Not Call Registry. He is looking to increase penalties  against the violators and even put them in jail. Schumer is hoping that the Federal Trade Commission will educate and let the public know how to fight the automated phone calls.

Let's hope the senator get's this done. I know that I still get those annoying calls even though I’m on the Do Not Call Registry.
