Is the Economy Too Risky to Switch Companies? – Daily Dilemma [AUDIO]
Here is the daily dilemma for Tuesday, March 27th, 2012:
“I’ve been with my current company for eight years, and for the most part it’s been pretty great. I was just offered a job to head a startup company. The job comes with a lot more money and it’ll look great on my resume. I’m seriously considering taking the gig, but I don’t know if it’s the safest thing to do right now. I know I would probably jump at it if I were single, but I have a family to support. Is it irresponsible of me to leave a job where I have a lot of security especially in this risky economy?”
