Is Jerrod Neimann Going To Get Me Fired? – Daily Dilemma

I don’t want anyone to know who I am but I guess I should say that I am a Host on one of the highest rated radio morning shows in the Capital District. I know that my team at work and the listeners rely on me to help them get through each and every morning and I take that responsibility very seriously. That is where my dilemma comes in.

You in two weeks there are two big concerts coming to the area, Lonestar and Jerrod Neimann are coming to the Upstate Concert Hall, in Clifton Park. The concerts are on Tuesday and Wednesday and I am excited for both. Now as a professional I know I can go to Lonestar , enjoy all their hits and still get up on Wednesday morning and host the show. However as I am a very very big Jerrod Neimann fan, and the Upstate Concert Hall is very near to my house, I really don’t see how I will make it in that Thursday morning. I am fully aware that missing work because of a weeknight evening of one too many drinking songs does not leave a good light shinin’ on me, but really, what do you want from me? You know?

So, here is my question, do I just use a vacation day, put in for the day off that Thursday and enjoy myself at the concert, pretty much admitting that I am going to be a delinquent or do I go with every intention of getting to work the next day, knowing my co-workers are counting on me and see how I feel at 4:00am that morning? I mean who knows maybe I’ll be fine in the morning.

The “Daily Dilemma” on the Sean and Richie Show is featured every weekday morning at 6:40am. We and the listeners take on someone’s problems and try to offer different perspectives. Now, these don’t have to be huge problems- it could just be something bothering you or a friend, or it could be some little thing you and another just can’t agree on. If you have a dilemma to share we’d love to hear it just e-mail us here at the show.
