Is It Okay for Women to Be Naked in a Group?

Here is the daily dilemma for Thursday, February 2, 2012:

"I go to the gym with a few friends once a week to attend a spinning class. My group likes to enjoy a visit to the steam room after the class. And not to fulfill any male fantasies, but they insist on going naked. I always feel uncomfortable, so I leave my towel on and my friends give me a hard time about it. Most of the other women in the steam room are naked, too.

I have to admit, I am a little on the heavier side hence why I go to the gym in the first place. Why do women insist on going to the steam room naked? Am I the only one that feels self-conscious?"
