A 27-year-old Cohoes man was the subject of an investigation that ended in New York City.

The Bureau Of Alcohol, Tobacco And Firearms and the Cohoes Police Department joined forces in a six month investigation, where Joseph Thomas ended up in the Albany County Jail. An indictment warrant was issued after an undercover and surveillance operation uncovered marijuana and heroin. Authorities seized a small amount of marijuana and more two thousand bags of heroin.

United States Marshals apprehended Thomas in New York City. He was arrested for allegedly distributing and possessing heroin. According to the story from News 10 ABC, Thomas was facing one count of Possession Of A Controlled Substance and two counts of Criminal Sale.
