I’m Pretty Sure This Movie Is Based On My Pets

I've been anxiously awaiting this movie since I saw the first preview. I'm a kid at heart, what can I say?! Here's the thing though: I'm wondering if the creators have my house bugged or something because I swear this is what my "kids" do on the daily.

The Secret Life of Pets is coming out on July 8 and it shows us all what our pets are doing while we're at work, or just out of the house. They're having all the fun I've always thought. Check out the preview and then see why I think Max might be based on my Penny below.

(Side note: I have a dog, cat and a bunny...my kids are amazing)

Here is Penny, knowing very well she's not supposed to go down in the basement, yet, look where I found her when I got home...
