Have you made the trip for some apple picking yet this year? I did this weekend with my daughters.

We packed up the vehicle and made our way to Granville and Hick's Orchard. They claim to be the oldest orchard in New York State. The weather was beautiful and we got some great apples. I had a great time ou there enjoying a nice day with the family and some dear friends.

It's always fun going from tree to tree looking for the good ones. I made sure I took a pit stop at the gift shop and grabbed a gallon of their cider and some of their homemade cider donuts too. The donut line was about a 40 minute wait. Hey you can only get these things a few months out of the year so it was worth it.

Have you ever been to Hick's Orchard? Where do you do your apple picking? Let me know.
