I Want To Sing About Grafton, NY! Your Town Thursday [VIDEO]

Well, I've already written about Troy, Watervliet, and Cooperstown.  Learned alot, and had a great time doing it!   Your Town Thursday is on a definite roll!  Time to add one more to the list.  The town is Grafton, NY.  It has a gorgeous state park.  And that's all I know about it so far!

That's the point of this whole exercise - to learn about the towns around us.  Isn't it weird that, in my case, I've lived in this area 31 years of my life and I couldn't tell you one concrete fact about this or many of the other towns in the area.  Do you feel the same way?  It's kind of sad!

Their slogan seems to be that "Beauty Is All About Us". There are gorgeous shots on their Grafton NY website to prove that.   But I need more to make a song!

I did find something on YOUTUBE about a Polar Plunge event in 2008, covered by WRGB Channel 6, so we do know that there are crazies living there (but very nice crazies - they did it for charity!)

I also found out it is the home of the "Redneck Tilt-A-Whirl".  You read it right!

Wow, what's in the drinking water there?  LOL.  I'm kidding.  Looks like a fun place and I'd like to know more!  Please comment below if you have any trivia you'd like to share.  I will try to get this together for this Thursday on the Sean and Richie Show , but if I don't have enough info, I will stall it until next week!  Thanks!
