I was on my way into work on Friday afternoon. I travel on Washington Avenue Extension in Albany. As I was coming up to the stop light to turn into the Polish Community Center and out of the corner of my eye, I see this strange looking parked car. It had this "thing" on the roof. As I got closer, I saw the "Google" logo on it. It was the Google Street View car. I thought that was pretty cool. I've used the Google Street View so many times, and now I saw the car that makes it happen.

I wonder where it was traveling? Looks like we may get some updated "street view" pictures of the Albany area soon. According to an article in the New York Times, some of these cars can drive themselves. I would think that could be a little scary, although I didn't see a person in this car. Then again, it was parked. Have you seen the Google car around?
