The "Daily Dilemma" on the Sean and Richie Show is featured every weekday morning at 6:40am. We and the listeners take on someone's problems and try to offer different perspectives. Now, these don't have to be huge problems- it could just be something bothering you or a friend, or it could be some little thing you and another just can't agree on. If you have a dilemma to share we'd love to hear it just e-mail us here at the show.

drinking kids in woods

Here is today's daily dilemma:

A couple weeks ago my 17-year-old daughter asked if she could go to a friend's lake house for Memorial Day weekend.

I was hesitant to let her go, but one of the parents was supposed to be looking after all the kids, so I agreed.

Then last night, I saw pictures of my daughter on Facebook from her time at the lake. There are kids drinking in some of the photos, and in others you can see beer bottles everywhere. So it's pretty obvious what happened.

I understand it's hard to stop teenagers from partying, and as far as know no one drove anywhere as they stayed the whole weekend at the house, but I'm still so angry with her, and with the parent who was supposed to be supervising them.

Would other parents let their high school kids drink as long as it was supervised? Should I punish my daughter, and talk to the parent who chaperoned the kids? Or, am I honestly over reacting, my husband thinks I am.
