Hurricane Irene Victims Being Helped By The Sean and Richie Show and WGNA
Starting at 6 a.m. this morning, The Sean and Richie Show began a marathon broadcast at Crossgates Mall outside the Standard Restaurant until 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
This is on the Western Avenue side of the mall. It’s all to raise much needed funds for the local victims of Hurricane Irene. You’ve seen the pictures on tv, Face Book and on WGNA.com. These are our neighbors, friends and family. Places like Pratsville and Middleburgh, Albany, Troy, Schoharie, Schenectady and our neighboring states if Vermont and Massachusetts. Between the pictures and some of the people that we have met with their own personal stories, you realize how bad things are. I’ll bet you know someone that has been a victim of this horrific storm.
Even f you don’t, think about the people that lost everything. I’m talking personal belongings, whole houses, farms and businesses. Think about if it happened to you.
Another thing you can do is bid on line for the Toby Keith package, with tickets and meet and greets for Toby at SPAC on September 8.
All we’re asking you to do is to please stop by the mall and donate money. If you already have, we can’t thank you enough.
