Hudson Falls Man Gets Sixth DWI Arrest In Nine Years

I can't wrap my head around this one. How can someone get 6 DWI's in 9 years and not be serving a sentence? This story could have ended tragically last night.

The Warren Country Sheriff's Department got a call alerting them that a car was driving north in the southbound lane of the Northway. Luckily they responded quickly and the driver, 32 year old Jeremy Belden almost collided with a Sheriff's deputy reporting to the scene.

Belden was serving probation for a 2008 arrest, and he was driving without a license and in a vehicle without an ignition interlock device which was court ordered as well. He is facing a slew of charges and is being jailed without bail. The full story is here. Thank God it didn't end tragically.
