Popular Albany Website To Shutdown Dec. 31st

One of Albany's most popular web resources will be signing off for good.

All Over Albany, which has been a go to for all things Albany, has announced they will be shutting down the website on December 31st. According to the announcement they have been publishing their stories about Albany for a decade. The announcement says "One of the secrets of AOA all these years has been that we were often writing to ourselves. To be curious, to pay attention, to try something new, to talk with more people, to listen, to understand that change is hard but often necessary."

At some point if you wanted to learn more about Albany or were looking for something fun to do in the city, you visited All Over Albany. Personally, I cannot tell you how much we visited this website to find things to talk about on the air on WGNA.

In the announcement the website's operators say it was basically just time to move on and try something new. All Over Albany will continue to publish new stories and content through December 31st.
