How About A Beer With Your Whopper?

It's the 4th of July weekend and it's not uncommon to break out the grill and cook up some hamburgers over the fire. It's also not uncommon for some of us to open up an ice cold adult beverage to wash that burger down. Pretty soon you might be able to do the same at your local fast food restaurant.

According to a report Burger King is opening up what they call Whopper Bars in three markets here in the U.S. where they sell beer.  The Restaurant Chain, Sonic, will also test selling alcohol in a few locations as well.

I can see why some of these restaurants would do this, with places like Red Robin (YUMMMMMMM) and TGIFriday's being known for their burgers and bars it was only a matter of time that some of the fast food joints would get into the mix as well.

I can just see it now, going to the drive thru:

"I'll have a Whopper, An order of Fries, An order of Onion Rings and a Bud Light!" "Super Size the Beer Please!!!!"
