Hooray For Lady “A” at the Grammys
February 12, 2011 9:11 AM On February 13, Sunday night will be the 53rd Grammy Awards. As I looked over the list of nominees, and I kept seeing this one name appear to be nominated in a few categories, and not just for country music.
Lady Antebellum is nominated for no less than six awards. (I hope I didn’t miscount-don’t want to miss any) In the country music genre, they’re nominated for “Best Country Performance By a Duo or Group With Vocals’, “Best Country Song” and “Best Country Album“. In the non-country nominations, it’s “Song of the Year”, “Album of the Year” and “Record of the Year“. Other than the duo award, they’re all for their song (and album) “Need You Now”.
In an earlier blog, I mentioned that “Need You Now” was their biggest song according to Lady Antebellum. With this year’s nominations, I think we can all see why.
