The recall affects 2009 and 2010 Fit models – Honda’s electric car.  According to Honda, the components known as the lost motion springs may bend or break over time, This could result in abnormal engine noise and/or other problems.

No crashes or injuries have been reported so far.  The company will be notifing Honda owners on how to take care of the potential problem, beginning early March.  For more on the recall, you can visit Honda Recalls for any additional information.
