Money is one thing many country artists don't sing about, but that doesn't mean they don't make a ton of it.

Country artists rack in as much dough as artists of more mainstream genres, like pop, lately, according to Forbes, and are bringing home enough bacon to live pretty well. In fact, Luke Bryan came in at No. 2 of best-selling artists of 2013 behind Justin Timberlake, according to Forbes.

So who's this year's highest paid country artist? Toby Keith.

Keith racked in $65 million this year, not only from his music but also from side ventures including his I Love This Bar restaurants, an endorsement deal with Ford and more, Forbes reported. He also has his own label.

Other Highest Paid Country Artists

Toby Keith may have topped the list, but others came in making a pretty penny as well. Taylor Swift fell only $1 million short of Keith, making $64 million within Forbes' scoring period. Kenny Chesney made $44 million; Jason Aldean made $37 million and Luke Bryan rounded out the top-5 by making $34 million.

In the $20 million range were stars like Tim McGraw, Zac Brown Band, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley and Florida Georgia Line. George Strait made $26 million, according to Forbes.
