This actually made national news this morning and I thought it was very interesting, in case YOU are interested in how this winter is going to be here in the Northeast.  Colder? Warmer? Buffalo-like snow?  Let's find out.

Ok - So here's the deal, peeps. According to Newser.com, there was a ton of snow this month in Siberia. "So what", you say?  Well what happens in Siberia usually has an uncanny connection to the weather we get in the US. , and it means we're going to get dumped on big time, if you listen to certain meteorologists.

Now if you pay attention to SUNY Albany polar expert Andrea Lang, she tells our paper, the AlbanyTimes Union that it's actually going to be mild unitil Christmas.  But watch out afterwards.  We may get "fierce cold weather…but more toward the  south"

The Farmer's Almanac?  They say 'very cold weather ahead".  The NOAA says warmer in many places.

HUH?  I don't get it. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE CAPITAL REGION IS GETTING SPECIFICALLY, DON'T YOU?  (WHOOPS, I'M YELLING.. SORRY)

Bottom line?  Noone knows…  Your guess is as good as mine and theirs!  What's YOUR prediction?
