Help Name The Eaglets – Capital Region Or Country Style!

Have you been watching the live feeds of the two recently hatched baby bald eagles at the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington?  Well, the two baby eagles are now in need of names.

The American Eagle Foundation is looking to us to help name the eaglets, temporarily named "DC2" and "DC3." We can suggest names  using Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #dceaglecam and #namethenestlings.  Remember, it’s not yet known if they are male or female, so the foundation is asking us to suggest gender neutral names.

That doesn't mean we can't use Dan and Shay , Darius and Rucker or Chesney and McGraw. Or we can try to come up with something that helps promote our area. Let’s not go all crazy, like “Boaty McBoatface.”  Let’s suggest some Capital Region names like “Nipper” or “O”Toole” or "Proctor" or “McMasteritaville”  OK maybe not the last one.  But you get where I am going with this.
