Eddie Kilgallon was born in East Greenbush on May 12. He was the keyboard player and one of the founding members of the band, Ricochet. Eddie left Ricochet in 2001. That’s when he started to tour with Montgomery Gentry.

Not only a keyboard player, Eddie co-wrote a number one song done by George Strait called ‘One Night At A Time.’ That was the ASCAP Song Of The Year in 1997.

In 2007, Eddie wrote and sang a song for his mom called ‘Happy Mother’s Day.’ I thought this was pretty cool especially since his birthday is the day before Mother’s Day this year.

When Eddie stops back home, he’ll usually give us a call at WGNA just to say hello. So to Eddie Kilgallon, happy birthday.
