Happy Birthday Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington turns 56 today. He is hands down one of my favorite actors. Here's a list of my top 10 favorite Denzel movies. You may disagree and if you do feel free to comment. I'd love to hear your favorites too.

Here's my list 10 to 1 (for effect)

10. "The Seige"  Bruce Willis and Denzel fight terrorism as only they can!

9. "Crimson Tide" No need to fear a submarine if Denzel is there to protect you.

8. "Ricochet " John Lithgow is a creepy as all get out nut job out to ruin and then kill Denzel. Will he? NEVER!!!

7. "The Book Eli" I was truely caught off gaurd by this one.

6. "Glory" This movie gets you out of class work when you're a kid learning about the Civil war. JACKPOT!!!

5. "Phildelphia" I cried. Nuff said.

4. "Fallen" I love scary movies and this one is worth the watch.

3. "Remember The Titans" You don't need to know anything about football to love this movie.

2. "Man On Fire" This is a remake of a old Scott Glenn movie and a rare case of me thinking the remake is better.

1. "Training Day" King Kong ain't got poop on this movie!

You could also add "John Q"  and "Courage Under Fire" and 20 other movies to this list but these are the 10 that if they are on I will watch start to finish. What's your favorite denzel movie? I'll even give you "St. Elsewhere" even though it was a tv show.
