Halfmoon Travel Agency Accused of Defrauding Customers

After a very busy summer traveling season, it's horrible to hear this took place right under our noses.

Anna Marie Perrotti, the owner of Sand Dollar Travel Agency based out of Halfmoon was arrested on September 7th according to officials and is accused of defrauding 40 of the businesses customers

The story from authorities goes like this: Perrotti was allegedly accepting payment from clients and of course, her job was to then book their trips but she didn't do that. Instead she was pocketing the cash as well as overcharging credit cards of the clients that she did book trips for.

Over the course of a two-week investigation around 40-people were interviewed by Troopers.

Perrotti turned herself in for the arrest and has been arraigned at the Town of Halfmoon Court and then taken to Saratoga County Jail on a $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
