A gun show that was scheduled in the same building as high school basketball, has been cancelled. Organizers just didn't think it was the right place in the wake of the recent tragedy. The decision to cancel or postpone the gun show at the same and at the same venue as a high school sporting event in the wake of the horrible tragedy in Florida was made by the staff of the arena.

The Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls which hosts the high school basketball tournaments, decided that the gun show would not be appropriate. According to News 10 ABC, the General Manager of the arena said, "That the thought of having a gun show in the same building as a high school event just didn't seem like the right thing to do."

The organizer of the gun show is not happy. He says that he spend a lot of money advertising the gun show. He was expecting a big crowd just like last year and was disappointed that they were moving it because of the tragedy.

The arena says it's unfortunate because of bad timing. There is a chance that the gun show can still happen. They are working on rescheduling it to a weekend in May.
