Great Train Extravaganza Sunday At Empire State Plaza In Albany

Every year, the members of the Update Train Associates and the Hudson-Berkshire Division Nation Model Railroad Association bring the "Great Train Extravaganza" to the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany, this Sunday, December 4, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Some of the displays are so elaborate, they even have people in the middle running the trains, similar to train engineers.

You can actual pick up on some of the history of the different railroads in the country and in the Albany area with the many tables that will be selling books about the railroads.

If you know anyone that collects trains as a hobby, they won't want to miss this show, although they probably have been to it in the past. It's a great way to spend the afternoon with the family.
