Great New Songs You May Have Not Heard Yet: Old Dominion, “Break Up With Him”

Recently Bethany and I have been talking about the new music that is coming out of Nashville, especially the stuff that because it is so new you may not have even heard yet and I was thinking I'd love to see what you think of some of the new songs I like.

So I thought I'd take these one at a time and get your opinions. the first song I'd love to get your thoughts on is from a band called, "Old Dominion". Old Dominion is made up of 5 guys who are all talented studio musicians and song writers who are all about fun energetic live shows. If you have not heard of them yet, there is a pretty good chance you will be hearing a lot more from them in the near future.

This particular song is special to the band because it's really the first song they all wrote together and to me, it shows that there is not only a lot of writing talent there, but they also blend well as a band. The song is called "Break Up With Him" has a little bit of the same feel as Sam Hunt's "Take Your Time" in that there is that "musical speak" in the song and a very catchy hook. I hope that Old Dominion finds the same success as Sam as his song just went number 1.
