WGNA has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to help the research continue at St. Jude Chlidren's Research Hospital.  Since it costs over 1 million dollars a day to keep the facility running, it is very important that we all do what we can to help the cause.

International Bluegrass stars, The Grascals, have put together a great collection of music and stars to help the hospital, that Charlie Daniels calls "The Miracle On The Mississippi."  The album, available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, is titled "Country Classics With A Bluegrass Spin."  Some of the highlights include Brad Paisley on "Tiger By The Tail," Joe Nichols on "Mr. Bojangles," and Dierks Bentley on "Folsom Prison Blues."  My personal favorite is the track that got Tom T. Hall out of retirement to sing for St. Jude, "The Year That Clayton Delaney Died."

Although the album is full of great songs and collaborations that will make any Country Music fan happy, the focus is on the compelling track, "I Am Strong."  In this audio clip, The Grascal's Terry Eldredge told me the story behind this little song that's making a big difference.
