Countryfest artist, Granger Smith has been working hard for a very long time. A lot longer than it probably seems. In fact he signed his first contract in Nashville at the age of 19! Just so we're clear, doing the math and carrying the four...that was 1998. Here we are, after almost two decades have gone by and this past Monday, at BMI Nashville, Granger was able to share a champagne toast with his "Backroad Song" co-writer, Frank Rogers!

They celebrated a lot of things Monday: His #1 achievement, the fact that he's toured 10 countries and 3 continents, performing at the White House 3 times and of course, creating his successful alter-ego, Earl Dibbles Jr. He started the day with zero plaques and walked away with 4! Not a bad way to kick off the week.

The best part for us is he'll be hanging at Countryfesyt  in less than a month at the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds! And yes, Earl Dibbles Jr is tagging along and will perform, too! Get ready for an amazing show and to sing along to that number one song, "Backroad Song."
