Grand In Your Hand: How Would I Spend $1,000 Cash?

The truth of the matter is, I can't win the $1,000 cash because I work here. However, it doesn't mean I haven't thought about how cool it would be to suddenly have $1,000 given to me out of nowhere and what I'd do with it.

We all get thinking about the bills, the things we need, the stuff we want, the places we'd love to travel to when we see the lottery jackpot up to some stupid high amount. They say all you need is a dollar and a dream, but in our case here at GNA, all you need is a phone read to dial and a dream to get $1,000! (or $10,000 if you become a GNA fanatic at wgna.com)

I'll admit, I'm a pretty easy to please kind of chick. I don't need much to be happy, so when it comes to thinking about how I would spend $1,000 is it weird to admit, I might have a problem coming up with ideas?

The first thing that comes to mind is that I have been wanting to get my bathroom floors redone, but do I spend it on practical things like this or just have a little fun with it?

Maybe a daytrip is in order to a Yankee game or maybe the Basketball Hall of Fame??? Get the windows tinted on the Honda Civic so I can feel like I'm cooler than I really am? Get those cowboy boots everyone around here keeps jokingly insisting that I need (at least I think it's a joke)? Do you think $1,000 is enough to start up my own Cinnabon franchise locally? Or would I need to win the $10k for that? Regardless - I want that. A day of pampering myself could be fun and relaxing; A massage, get the nails did or a facial. Hey you, rub my feet. Oh wait, I forgot I'm tickilish.

The thinking of spending it on just about anything is definitely fun but alas, I'll admit, I'm too responsible to blow it. I mean, my bathroom window is all cracked along the outside and has looked like a mosaic for the last couple of years now, I should probably fix that, huh?
