February 4, 2011 9:40 AM In the words of Forrest Gump, “stupid is as stupid does”, seems to be proven with this story. It sounds like an opening line of a joke. A guy walks into a bank-And robs it.
Nothing funny about that at all, but this is where those 2 statements come into play. He did this a day after he got out of jail. He also stole a SUV, before he pulled the robbery. By the way, when police found the vehicle, they found the clothes he was wearing when he robbed the bank, in the SUV.
On February 2nd, Upper Yoda, Pa. police arrested Richard Brandon Johnson a couple of hours after the bank job. According to the Tribune-Democrat, Johnson refused to answer questions from reporters but said “hi, Mom” as police led him to court. Nothing would make a mom more proud after her son robs a bank.
