GNA’s Country Cares Radiothon Raises $202,193 For St. Jude!

Every year we head into the St. Jude Radiothon hoping to make it a great success, hoping to raise more money than the previous year. This year, we once again did both while setting an all time record for WGNA in total money raised!

I was pretty much at a loss for words when I first saw the check above that showed you donated $202,193 to St. Jude this year. I thought it would be really hard to beat last year's total, but once again YOU proved when we get together to fight childhood cancer great things happen.

In all honesty every year, we only need one thing to make the radiothon successful: you. Every year, you step up to help out this very important cause and you step up to end childhood cancer. Over 26 hours on the air, you made amazing things happen to raise money for St. Jude. You raised all that money to give kids a chance at a healthy and fulfilling life. You saved families. You gave hope.
