GNA’s Battle of The Bands At Vapor – The Best Northeast Country Bands

WGNA continues the popular Budweiser Country Nights at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway with another big Country Night on Nov. 14.

The management of WGNA has hand-picked five of the area's best Country Bands to compete in a showdown for the title of GNA's Official House Band. As GNA's winner, the band will have the chance to open up for some big national Country Music stars in 2014.

Judges and scoring criteria to determine the winner will be announced soon. Although this is not a 'popularity' contest, crowd reaction will play a role in the results. Therefore, it's important to be there, be loud, and be supportive of the band you feel is the best in the northeast.

A few other bands were invited, but were unable to participate. Other country bands who would like to be considered for next year's competition should reach out to WGNA management in the summer of 2014. Solo performers are encouraged to compete in the Country Idol contest on Thursday, January 16, 2014.
