Gloversville To Welcome A New Business From Michigan
There’s a Kalamazoo, Michigan based company moving into a vacant building in Gloversville. In a story from The Leader Herald Newspaper, The Midwest Fastener Company has purchased the former Callaway Golf Building, in the Crossroads Industrial Park, to set up the company’s seventh distribution center in America. Midwest Fastener distributes packaged fasteners for home centers, hardware stores and industrial markets.
The company will be starting out with hiring eight to ten local people, and may hire more after they continue their set up through March. I know that’s not many people, but it is a start. Gloversville is about 44 miles northwest of Albany.
