Glens Falls Man Arrested After Wife’s Suicide

Sometimes you read a story and just say to yourself, "He did what?." Just sheer disbelief sets in and you have to read it again just to assure yourself that it actually happened. This story is one of those and it is sad and tragic. According to reports 69 year-old Willard Skellie of Glens Falls knew his wife had severe mental health issues. He bought a shotgun, and literally showed her how to use it and then left the residence to go hunting. When he returned, his wife 59 year-old Kathy Skellie had killed herself with the shotgun.
