Getting Ready For Big Changes At Fuller Road And Washington Avenue In Albany [PHOTOS]

I travel just about every day on Fuller Road and Washington Avenue in Albany, just like so many of you. There’s plenty of construction going on, and there will be what I consider some major changes for those roads. I told you when it was ready to start in another story. After doing a little research, thanks to NYSDOT, I finally got a glimpse of what the final product should look like.

I knew about the roundabout, but didn’t know about the bridge that will be carrying Washington Avenue traffic over Fuller Road. What will also happen is where we drive on Washington Avenue Extension next to the College Of Nanoscale Science And Engineering will be a parking lot. The highway will be rerouted.

Another cool little feature will be the installation of sidewalks. I’m always curious about how the changes will look. By the looks of the plans, I think the changes  will be good. What do you think?
