He's recently performed at Clifton Park's Upstate Concert Hall, and just last week, his song (heard on 'GNA) "Backroad Song" made it to No. 1 on the Mediabase and Billboard Country Songs charts.

Granger Smith is a country newcomer, but one who's sure to leave a lasting impression on country music lovers. In fact, Taste of Country recently named him the "Hottest Artist to Watch in 2016."

Before Smith became a popular artist with "Backroad Anthem," he saw success on YouTube as his alter ego, Earl Dibbles Jr., and with his token phrase, "Yee yee!" Dibbles Jr. is a country redneck and something of a parody of the country persona.

Smith's major label debut album, Remington, is scheduled to be released March 4.
