Get to Know Countryfest Performer Granger Smith
He's recently performed at Clifton Park's Upstate Concert Hall, and just last week, his song (heard on 'GNA) "Backroad Song" made it to No. 1 on the Mediabase and Billboard Country Songs charts.
Granger Smith is a country newcomer, but one who's sure to leave a lasting impression on country music lovers. In fact, Taste of Country recently named him the "Hottest Artist to Watch in 2016."
Before Smith became a popular artist with "Backroad Anthem," he saw success on YouTube as his alter ego, Earl Dibbles Jr., and with his token phrase, "Yee yee!" Dibbles Jr. is a country redneck and something of a parody of the country persona.
Smith's major label debut album, Remington, is scheduled to be released March 4.
