Here's how to cash in. This time of the year during the college football bowl games, I don't really have a vested interest. But there was a game on New Year's Day that we couldn't lose. During the Outback Bowl game between the Iowa Buckeyes and Mississippi State, the Outback gave a little incentive.

According to USA Today, The Outback said that if Mississippi State won, you would get a free bloomin' onion and if the Iowa Buckeyes won, you would get free coconut shrimp. Well the Iowa Buckeyes won the Outback Bowl 27-22 and now we all get free coconut shrimp at the Outback today (January 2, 2019).

All you have to do is go into any participating Outback restaurant and when you order, simply say to your server, "Outback Bowl" and you will receive a free order of coconut shrimp today.
