Get A Taste of Nashville In Saratoga Springs

A Nashville staple is now being served at Hattie's!

At 107-7 GNA, we are proud to bring you all of Nashville's musical offerings. But music is not all Nashville has to offer. The city is also know for having great restaurants and dishes, specifically hot Nashville chicken. And now you can enjoy some Nashville hot chicken right here in the Capital Region.

Hattie's Restaurant on Phila Street in Saratoga Springs and the Hattie's Chicken Shack in Wilton are now serving Nashville hot chicken, according to the Times Union. The article calls the dish '...Nashville-style hot chicken, a creation based on crunchy chicken slathered with a paste of lard or frying oil and immoderate amounts of cayenne.

Now I have never personally had Nashville hot chicken, but I have heard it can be super hot. I love hot food, but I haven't gotten up the nerve yet to try this super hot offering. But maybe now that I can get it locally, and jump in Saratoga Lake if necessary, it is time to jump in!
