It's no surprise that Country Music fans are not taking any chances when it comes to seeing George Strait one last time.  After a batch of tickets went on sale last week, it only took a few hours to sell out some of the stops.

Considering that each venue holds 15,000-20,000 or more people, this is quite an accomplishment for the legend. Taste of Country reports "Even more impressive was the Lubbock, Texas show, which took only 15 minutes for all 15,431 tickets to be sold. Other sell outs include Oklahoma City, St. Paul, Albuquerque, Las Vegas and Las Cruces."

Do you think George Strait's show still would have sold out this quickly even if this was not a farewell tour? (please leave your comments in the section below).
