George Strait Announces Tour Dates & More in Casey’s Taste of Country [AUDIO]

Lauren Alaina will be on LIVE with Regis & Kelly today.  She’ll be promoting her debut album, “Wildflower,” which if you recall, came out last week. 

Miranda Lambert is teaming up with Hipstamatic – an iPhone app that’s hosting a “Listen and Create” contest.  What you do is listen to Miranda’s new song, “Mama’s Broken Heart.”  After hearing the song, they want you to take a photo inspired by the song.  The contest is going on until October 18^th and if you win, you’ll score yourself an autographed guitar from Miranda.

Chris Young has been named Country Weekly’s “Hottest Bachelor” two times in the last three years.  He told “The Boot” when asked what it would take to take him off the available list, he replied something along the lines of someone who’s comfortable going to McDonalds drive-thru and someone who also enjoys a really nice dinner.  Some who is go with the flow.  He said his bus is cleaner than his house and he likes playing Xbox Black Ops video games and going online.  So they’d have to deal with that, too.

King of Country, George Strait himself, is hitting the road.  He’s beginning a new tour in January of the new year and has teamed up with Martina McBride.  The tour kicks off January 27^th in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Despite being on the road, George will still have time to do what he loves the most, in his spare time.  Here's what he had to say:
