Garth Brooks has come out on top once again.  A jury has ruled in favor of him and his civil lawsuit against Integris Hospital in Yukon, Oklahoma.  The hospital was found to be fraudulent in accepting $500,000 from Garth for naming rights to a new women’s center back in 2005, in honor of his mother.  The hospital must return the $500,000 plus pay an additional $500,000 in punitive damages.

Taylor Swift was reportedly in London on Monday.  She was spotted on the streets of the English city.  She was in London visiting Cameron Mackintosh’s office, a theater producer.  It is presumed they were discussing her upcoming role in Les Miserables.

A member of Lady Antebellum has a fractured hand.  Charles Kelley showed up to a party honoring the band’s new album with a cast on his left hand.  It’s only a hairline fracture that apparently happened when he was vacationing in the Bahamas.  Hillary Scott teased him over the size of the cast in relation to the actual injury.  Charles admitted, “Yeah, I’m a baby.  I’m a dainty musician.”

Merle Haggard is back in the hospital.  He has been battling a case of pneumonia and will stay to recuperate at the Georgia Hospital.  He was initially in the hospital early last week, according to his publicist, who also added that his lungs are clearing, but it will a few more days at the facility.  Merle has canceled his January concert dates, but plans to be back late February.
